Where is the Space showroom located?

Space Singapore is located on Bencoolen Street right after Sunshine Plaza and across NAFA Campus 1.  The nearest train stations are Bras Basah, Dhoby Ghaut and Bugis. Please refer to map for exact location.

Space Kuala Lumpur is located on level three of The Intermark Mall building which Double Tree Hilton Hotel is also located within. The Intermark Mall is located on the pivotal of two the most active commercial in Kuala Lumpur between Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak.

Space Kuala Lumpur also near to Ampang’s LRT station and five minute walking distance away from the bus station. Please refer to map for exact location.

Where are the nearest parking facilities?

For Space Singapore, the nearest parking facilities are at Sunshine Plaza, NAFA Campus 1, Elections Department and Somerset Bencoolen.

For Space Kuala Lumpur, there is a car park within The Intermark with 2,500 parking bays including integrates security and valet parking.

What are the opening hours?

Monday to Sunday 10.30am to 8pm.

Do I have to make an appointment if I am keen to visit?

For sales-related visit, no appointment is needed. However, you might want to contact your dedicated sales executive prior to your visit to ensure he/ she will be available on your preferred day of visit. For group visits or non-sales related purposes such as academic-based visits, kindly email us at least 2 days in advance to make an appointment. If you require a discreet shopping experience, kindly click here for details on our By Appointment service.

What kind of furniture do you carry?

Space is a one-stop shop for interior decoration needs. We carry system furniture like wardrobe and kitchen, loose furniture like accent chairs, beds and sofas, soft furnishings like cushions and rugs, and a wide variety of accessories from around the world to complete the look.

Where is your furniture from?

Primarily Europe and North America, brands that are retailed at Space Furniture all share common traits of high quality, fine craftsmanship, integrity and originality in design and high manufacturing standards.

Purchase and ordering

How long must I wait if I indent order furniture?

Depending on the country of origin, it typically takes three to four months for the furniture to reach here. This does not factor in summer and winter closure.

Do I need to pay in full or can I make a deposit?

For all sale items, 100% payment needs to be made. Otherwise a 50% down payment upon confirmation and 50% balance payment prior to delivery can be arranged.

Can Space customise furniture?

Some designs are available in a wide variety of materials, finishes, dimensions and colours which one can choose from to create a unique piece.  Please speak with our sales executive to find out more.

Is cancellation of orders allowed?

Once an order has been placed, no cancellation will be allowed. 

What are the payment mode options?

Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Amex, Nets, telegraphic transfer and cheque. For overseas client, telegraphic transfer.

Will there be site visit if I wish to purchase wardrobe and kitchen system?

Miscellaneous charges

Are there delivery charges?

In Singapore, delivery to one destination is free with minimum nett purchase of S$2,000.

For a nett purchase of less than S$2,000 or if more than one delivery location is required, an additional transport fee of S$160 for each delivery will be charged.

In Kuala Lumpur, delivery to one destination within the Klang Valley area is free with minimum nett purchase of RM2,500. For a nett purchase of less than RM2,500 or for any delivery out of the Klang Valley area or if more than one delivery is required, an additional  transport fee of an amount to be advised by us separately for each delivery will be charged.

Are there assembly and installation charges?

Assembling of furniture is free with minimum nett purchase of S$1,000 or RM2,500. Installation of items such as small bookcase will be charged accordingly. We do not provide installation for suspension lighting. Clients are advised to seek professional electrician’s assistance to install.

If I require items to be removed or moved from one floor to another at my residence, are there charges?

Yes, charges will be advised.

How do I maintain my furniture?

A maintenance guide will be made available upon order confirmation. Alternatively visit section on Space Care.

How long is the warranty?

Warranty is dependent on brands and type of furniture. Generally the goods are warranted for a minimum of two years. For Kartell items, there is a one year warranty whilst for accessories none due to the fragile nature.

Do you provide after sales product service if my items are not bought at Space?

No we do not provide that.

Is storage allowed after purchase?

Storage fee equivalent to S$500 or RM1,000 or 2% of the price of the product (whichever is the higher) for each period of 30 days or part thereof will be charged. Storage fee shall be subjected to GST.
