Bocci Lighting
Bocci is a Canadian design and manufacturing studio with roots in Vancouver and Berlin. Founded in 2005 by Randy Bishop and Omer Arbel, Bocci lighting developed its identity through sculptural thinking, material exploration and large-scale installations. The company began after Bishop and Arbel crossed paths during New York Design Week. This meeting led to Bocci’s launch and the introduction of the award-winning 14 series, an early-cast glass design that shaped the creative direction that followed.
Bishop currently handles the business side of the company, while Arbel oversees the creative vision. Bocci lighting now spans seven families of ambient fixtures, alongside two design objects and a collection of electrical accessories in the brand’s catalogue. The collections are named numerically to reflect their place in the chronology of Arbel's evolving creative process.
